Sandra (Ogletree) Bishop

Mrs. Sandra Ogletree Bishop, 70, of Tifton, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at her residence.

A private memorial service will be held Tuesday at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bishop was born August 27, 1949 in Tift County to Mrs. Julia Faye Franks Ogletree and the late Leonard Ogletree. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Derrick Ogletree.  Mrs. Bishop was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church of Tifton and was a Missionary with IM, Inc., formerly Free Will Baptist International Missions. She was a graduate of Tift County High School and Welch College formerly the Free Will Baptist Bible College in Gallatin, Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree.

In addition to her Mother, she is survived by her husband, Larry Dale Bishop of Tifton, her sons, and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Bishop of Atlanta, Kevin Bishop of Denver, Colorado and Douglas and Miriam Bishop of Japan, her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Cornelius of Nashville, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, Alex, Oliver, Abby, Scarlet, Hazel, Felix and Arthur along with one brother, Gregory P. Ogletree of Tifton.
