Sandi Lopez Lasch

On April 9, 2023, Sandi Lopez Lasch passed away at Gulfside Regional Hospice at age 55 after fighting an illness for the past 7 months. Sandi was the biological mother of three children (Celyna, Chayla, and Cyrus Lopez).  However, many people considered Sandi as their second mother. Sandi is the daughter of Annette Rubright and Florian Malchezwski, both biological parents have passed in recent years.

When Sandi’s children were young, the phrase “stay-at-home-mom” didn’t exist. It was usual for women to stay home with the children while their husbands worked. But even by the standards of the era, Sandi was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She never understood the word “NO”. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. She always went out of the way just because she wanted to make someone smile.  And she always ensured that anyone who crossed her threshold was safe, healthy, and happy.

Sandi is survived by her daughters, sons, grandchildren, sisters, and her loving husband John Lasch.

A Memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.
