Peggy Webb

Peggy Webb, 61, of TyTy passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Emory Hospital of Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 25, 2023 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Pastor Joseph Crews officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 A.M. before the service at the funeral home.

David Griner, Rubert Hogan, Barrett Hogan, Zack Waldrop, Alex Waldrop, Shane Benefield and Alton Benefield will serve as pallbearers.

Peggy was born February 13, 1962 in Tift County to the late Gilbert Neal Webb and Clara Mae Mathis Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell “Rusty” Paul Webb, her brothers-in-law, Dale Crabtree and Billy Wayne Mobley and her niece, Billie Denise Webb. She attended Emanuel Baptist Church. Peggy loved to sew, play cards, shopping and putting together puzzles. She loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids. Peggy enjoyed music, going to the mountains, her dogs and being a prankster.

Peggy is survived by her children Eric and Laci-Jae Webb and Bryan and Beverly Kennedy all of Tifton; her grandchildren, Nevaeh Hendrix, Rose Kennedy, Dalton Kennedy and Harper Rae Webb; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger & Julie Webb of Woodstock, Gilbert & Charlene Webb of Albany, Lloyd and Rhonda Webb of Austell; four sisters and two brothers-in-law Carolyn Crabtree of Crystal River, FL; Marie Griffin of Tifton; Kay and Randall Waldrop of Ty Ty, and Deneen and Jerry White of Omega.
