Marice "Recy" Jeanette Pendarvis

Marice “Recy” Jeanette Pendarvis, 96, passed away at Southwell Health and Rehabilitations on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Private services will be held at a later date by the family.

Mrs. Marice was born on March 27, 1927 to the late Thomas Jefferson Green and Hattie Bell Cooper Green. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford “Peter” Elwood Pendarvis; one daughter, Glenda Pendarvis Kinnaird; two sons, Larry Pendarvis and Danny Pendarvis; two sisters; and one brother.

Mrs. Marice was a devoted member of the First Missionary Baptist Church. She was a caregiver for Hearts and Hands for many years. Mrs. Marice enjoyed going to yard sales, cooking, and spending time with her pets. She also was an avid traveler that never met someone she couldn’t talk to.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie (David) Rowe of Tifton, GA; four grandchildren, Jeret Kinnaird, Micah Kinnaird, Jill Campbell, and Jeri Lynn Keene; nine great grandchildren.
