Lois (Gibbs) Gray

Mrs. Lois Gibbs Gray, 99, of Tifton, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Tifton Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Oakridge Cemetery with Rev. Ike Branch officiating.

Mrs. Gray was born September 14, 1920 in Cook County to the late Walter Gibbs and Lydia Gibbs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Felton Gray who died September 11, 2002, four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Gray was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of Tifton.  She was a graduate from county school in Adel. She was a supervisor with Mrs. Kinser’s Salad before retiring. Mrs. Lois loved to sew, needlepoint, cross stitch and grow flowers, especially daylilies. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Gray is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Linda Adams of Grandberry, Texas and Janice and Harold Davis of Concord, North Carolina; one son, Walter Leon Gray of Albany; nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one sister, Shirley Kaiser of Lakeland, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, PO Box 315, Tifton, Ga. 31793.

Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
