Mrs. Julia Faye Franks Ogletree, 92, of Tifton, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Marshall Kennedy and Rev. Dale Bishop officiating. Entombment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 9:00 until 9:45 prior to service time at the funeral home
Mrs. Ogletree was born November 20, 1929 in Winfield, Alabama to the late Marvin Madison Franks and Jose Parr Franks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Leonard Forest Ogletree daughter, Sandra O, Bishop a son, Derrick Forrest Ogletree and her five siblings Mrs. Ogletree was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from Belk’s as sales clerk. She was also formerly employed with J. P. Stevens Company in the mending shop.
Mrs. Ogletree is survived by her son, Gregory Phillip Ogletree of Tifton; her son-in-law, Dale Bishop of Atkins Arkansas; her grandchildren, Michael (Senthia) Ogletree, Jeff Bishop, Michelle (Eric) Petty, Kevin Bishop, Doug (Miriam) Bishop, Jennifer (James) Cornelius, Caleb (Rachel) Ogletree and Jason Ogletree; seventeen great grandchildren
