Ella "Kaye" (Shadoin) Morgan

Mrs. Ella “Kaye” Shadoin Morgan, 81, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 20, 2023 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Stacy Phillips and Rev. Landon Alberson officiating.

Mrs. Morgan was born February 15, 1942 in Gadsden, Alabama to the late George Edward Shadoin, Sr., and Allie Lorene Bagley Shadoin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Green Morgan, her son Ronald Keith Morgan, her daughter Rhonda Morgan Stokes, her brother George Edward Shadoin, Jr., her sister, Nancy Ann McDougald and her friend, Starr Boehnke. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Tifton and was a graduate of Broward County, Florida High School. Kaye worked as a Para Pro with Tift County Board of Education and was co-owner of Wishbone. She loved sewing, knitting, decorating, homemaking and plants. She especially loved her family and her church family. Her nickname was “Honeybee”.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her daughter Nancy Candice Johnson of Tifton; her six grandchildren, Holden Stokes, Austin Stokes, Landen Johnson & Tyler Morgan, Miranda Morgan and Daniel Houston; her sister and brother-in-law, Jonnie Elizabeth and Ron Grimm of Gainesville, Georgia and her brother, Samuel Newton Shadoin of Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northside Baptist Church of Tifton, 4605 Murray Avenue, Tifton, Ga. 31794.
