Mrs. Deloris “Flossy” Harper Hill, 63, of Alapaha passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Carver officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Atkinson, Terry Atkinson, Christopher Hudson, Brian Hill, Jamie Hill, Tyler Atkinson, Shannon Atkinson and Ray Corneal.
Mrs. Hill was born February 15, 1959 in Irwin County to the late Thurman Harper and Opal Harper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Chris Hill. Mrs. Hill attended Glory United Methodist Church. She was with Tift Regional Medical Center as the food service clerk for twenty-two years. Mrs. Hill loved to cook, yard work and clean her house. She especially loved her family.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, Tommy Hill, Sr., and her children, Lynn and Billy Hudson of Oxford, Alabama, Kendall and Michelle Hill of Alapaha, Kyler Cleveland of Alapaha, Ronda and Johnny Scoggins of Toccoa, Georgia and Tommy and Jamie Hill, Jr., of Havana, Florida; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Hal Calhoun of Ochlocknee; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Peggy Harper of Rebecca and Tim and Julie Harper of Chula. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
