Obituary

Mrs. Cornelia Perez Jaimes, 58, of Tifton passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

A Funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in Our Divine Saviour Catholic Church with Father Peter Oyenugba officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors with the rosary following from 7:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jose Falcon, Adrian Hernandez, Richard Hernandez, Saul Falcon, Flavio Jr Hernandez, Miguel Angel Perez, Yahir Falcon and Michael King will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Perez was born September 15, 1963 in Chacamero Guerrero, Mexico to the late Joel Perez and Fidela Jaimes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers. She was a homemaker and was a member of Our Divine Saviour Catholic Church of Tifton. Mrs. Perez was a godly Christian and a woman of faith. She was part of a bible study and prayer group at ODS Grupo Guadalupano Coro de la Iglecia. Mrs. Perez was a good cook and always visiting the sick in her community. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

Mrs. Perez is survived by her husband, Flavio Hernandez Soto of Tifton; her children, Yuri Moreno, Olivia Perez, Maria De Jesus Perez, Adrian Perez Hernandez, Cristal Jaimes Perez, Miguel Angel Perez, Evelia Hernandez, Flavio Jr Hernandez, Richard Hernandez and Leslian Isbet Hernandez. She is also survived by her siblings, Arnulfa Perez, Francisco Perez, Rosalino Perez, Jesus Perez, Natividad Perez, Sabas Mendoza and Blanca Estella Perez.
