Christine (Holley) Dean

Mrs. Christine Holley Dean, 80, of Tifton passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. in Tift Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gene Stokes officiating.

Jay Jay Dean, Adam Suggs, Chris Castleberry, Gene Castleberry, Jamie Fore, Jimmy Castleberry, Jason Winzenried and Andy Ellis will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Dean was born June 19, 1940 in Worth County to the late James C. Holley and Elizabeth Cox Holley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Earl Wayne Flowers and Talmadge Jamie Dean; her brothers and sisters, James Holley, Tommie Holley, Donnie Holley, Annie Holley, Erline Rickerson, Doris Jones, Peggy Castleberry and Margie Ballard. Mrs. Dean was retired from Rehab Services of Tifton after twenty years. She had lived most of her life in Berrien and Tift Counties. Mrs. Christine was proud of her long career at Rehab Services. She enjoyed growing flowers and watching the birds in her yard. Her favorite times were being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed hunting Easter eggs and doing word puzzles. Mrs. Christine loved spending time with her dog “Trixie”. She was an avid reader and loved reading her Bible.

Mrs. Dean is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Hubert Talmadge Dean; four daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Dean Suggs of Omega, Deborah Boatwright of Moultrie, Diane and Gary Lewis of Moultrie and Penny and Joseph Burke of Moultrie; grandchildren, Christopher, Adam and Heather Suggs, Amanda and Michael Fletcher, Nicole Williams, Talmadge “Bubba” Flowers, Jonathan “JJ” Dean, Ava Dean, Jason and Misty Winzenried, Nikki Boatright, Crystal and Mike Antkowiak and Karla and Luke Rhodes; great grandchildren, Aiden, Abby and Grace Suggs, Payton Williams and Braelyn Godwin, Shayla Winzenried, Autumn and Austin Dinkins, Katherine and Nicholas Antkowiak; two great great grandchildren, Bentley and Carly Dinkins; two sisters and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Gene Stokes of Lee, FL., and Joyce Mattingly of Alachua, FL.
