Mrs. Carolyn Hudgins Clements, 88, of Tifton passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Pruitt Health Nursing Care Center in Ashburn.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Rob Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery in Turner County. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her nephews Moe Clements, Harold Carter, Dusty Carter, Jim Carter, Allen Carter and Dennis Carter.
Mrs. Clements was born February 9, 1932 in Turner County, Georgia to the late Clifford Hudgins and Margaret Rainey Hudgins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Carol Franklin Clements to whom she was married for fifty years at the time of his death October 11, 2003, one infant son, one infant daughter, one sister and three brothers. Mrs. Clements was retired from Rainer’s Pharmacy after thirty years and was a graduate of Turner County High School. She had lived in Tifton most of her life. Mrs. Carolyn enjoyed her many friends she made during the years at Rainer’s Pharmacy. She enjoyed cooking and Braves baseball. Her family was the center of her life.
Mrs. Clements is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law Bill Clements and Walt and Jocelyn Clements all of Tifton; six grandchildren Ashley and Crista Clements, Drew and Michelle Clements, Shane and Chelsea Clements, Michelle Clements, Jennifer and Justin Puckett and Joshua Watson; seven great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law Hilton and Louise Hudgins of Florida and Greg and Marie Hudgins of Sycamore.
