Bonnie Gondola (Tucker) Lupo

Mrs. Bonnie Tucker Lupo, 86, of Tifton passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Louie Lupo and Rev. David Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.

Ryan Lupo, David Fletcher, Garrett Lupo, Daniel Willcox, Clint Sumner and Will Payne will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Lupo was born November 7, 1935 in Wilcox County, Georgia to the late Walter David Tucker and Rosalie Kilcrease Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson “Jr.” Lupo, Jr. who died April 29, 2003, her daughter Tracy Lupo, her sisters, Martha Hulett and Geraldine McReady and two brothers Johnny Tucker and Kenneth Tucker. Mrs. Lupo was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church and formerly a member of Blockhouse Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Georgia. She was retired from Fitzgerald Underwear Corporation. Bonnie loved working in her garden and her yards. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Lupo loved all her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lupo is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Missy Lupo and Gary and Kay Lupo all of Tifton; her daughter and son-in-law, Winette and Ronald Fletcher of Chula; her grandchildren, Tommy Payne, Jessica Lupo, David Fletcher, Ryan Lupo, Courtney Lupo, Lawson Lupo, Eric Fletcher, Garrett Lupo and Kaylee Lupo; twelve great grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie Joyce McReady of Douglas, and Paulette Smith of Wetumpka, Ala.; her brother, Gene Autrey Tucker of Eclectic, Ala.
