Bobby Lee McDaniel

Mr. Bobby Lee McDaniel, 81, of Tifton passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 17, 2023 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Conway Harris officiating. Mr. Patrick McDaniel will give the eulogy. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Albritton Funeral Directors.

John Spivey, Dallas Spivey, Blake Clark, C. J. Perez, Pete Massey and Johnny White will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. McDaniel was born December 4, 1941 in Tift County to the late Willie McDaniel and Lillie Hayes McDaniel. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Bobbi Anne McDaniel who died June 2019, two brothers, Herman McDaniel and Roy “Pete” McDaniel, three sisters, Dolly McDaniel, Imogene McDaniel and Sarah Walker. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Believers Baptist Church of Tifton and was retired truck driver with UPS. He graduated from Tift County High School in 1963. He was a carpenter and he loved to hunt and fish. Bobby Lee loved the Lord and his family. He enjoyed gospel singing. He was known as “PaPa Mac”. Bobby Lee was a “Jack of All Trades” and loved his cat “Tigger” and his lap dog “Goober”.

Mr. McDaniel is survived by his two children, Patrick and Shannon McDaniel of Tifton and Carla and Bill Cowart of Nashville; his grandchildren, John Spivey, Dallas Spivey, Krystin Perez, Blake Clark, Abbie Hancock Hunt, Austin McDaniel, Madeline McDaniel and Cole McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Eva Perez, Karly Spivey, Raelyn Spivey, Emma Spivey, Waylon Spivey, Dallas Spivey, Jr., Odin Spivey and Mateo Perez; his brothers, Bill and Ann McDaniel, Gene McDaniel and Buck McDaniel all of Tifton; his sister, Marie and Bruce Hall of Tyrone.
