Beverly (Brown) Turnmire

Mrs. Beverly Brown Turnmire, 80, of Tifton passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Southern Pines Nursing Facility in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Keith Norris officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors before the service.  The interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.

Riley Burks, Peyton Burks, Luke Alexander and Joey Marta will serve as pallbearers

Mrs. Turnmire was born April 5, 1943 in Quincy, Kentucky to the late Oliver T. Brown, Sr., and Anna Lewis Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband first husband, Jesse Burks, her second husband, Raymond Larry Turnmire, her son, Michael J. Burks and her brother, Oliver T. Brown. She enjoyed caring for others as a CNA at Maple Court Assisted Living. When not working, she was spending time informing the world through Facebook for all her family and friends to see, caring for her beloved pet, Boo, who is now deceased and preserving memories from the past in pictures and books.

Mrs. Turnmire is survived by her children, Jay and Robin Burks of Warner Robins, Georgia and Kim and Donnie Parrish of Richmond, Virginia; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two stepchildren, Stephanie Turnmire Alexander and her husband, Chad and James Turnmire all of Tifton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Vivian and Lance Tranium of Chesapeake, Virginia, Rita and Dusty Rhodes of  The Villages, Florida and Tracey and Paul Lantiegine of The Villages, Florida.
