Annis Faye (Marchant) McMillian

Mrs. Annis Faye Marchant McMillian, 67, of Tifton passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Terry Robert McMillian officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.

Dalton Billings, Brad Billings, Danny Lamb, Kyle Henry, Dixon Billings, David McMillian, Brandon McMillian, Hunter McMillian and Johnathan McMillian will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. McMillian was born July 9, 1954 in Tift County to the late William D. Marchant and Annie Laurie Thompson Marchant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rubin McMillian who died June 22, 2019 and to whom she was married for forty-seven years, her brother, Carl Marchant. Mrs. McMillian was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church. She was the book clerk at Coastal Plain Library for thirty plus years and loved her job. She graduated Tift County High School in 1972. Mrs. Annis loved being grandma to her grandsons and spending time with all her family fishing.

Mrs. McMillian is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Brad Billings of Tifton; her grandchildren, Dalton Billings and Dixon Billings; her sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Raleigh Henry of Barnesville and her sister-in-law, Denise Marchant of Griffin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
