Adger "Buzzy" Warren McGinty, Jr.

Mr. Adger Warren “Buzzy” McGinty, Jr., 67, of Tifton passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Mr. Randy Hand officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. McGinty was born September 7, 1954 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the late Adger Warren McGinty, Sr., and Frances L. Edwards McGinty. He had previously worked in the Turf industry and the cotton industry as a scout and he graduated from the Memphis Cotton Exchange Cotton School He was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Tifton.

Mr. McGinty is survived by one brother, Frederick McGinty of St. Simons, Georgia; three sisters, Deborah Jones of Tifton, Melody Mauldin (Clay) of Chula and Stephanie Spinks of Tifton; his nieces and nephews, Leah Bumbalough, Kecia Gray, Tiffany Mauldin, Ty and Torie McGinty, Sara Hand (Justin) and Lauren Mauldin. He is also survived by three great nephews and one great niece.
