Jim is a graduate of The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, which is the leader in the country in mortuary science and death education. He is FULLY LICENSED by the state of Georgia and is accredited by the National Board of Funeral Service. Jim is a member of the Georgia Funeral Directors Association and the Independent Funeral Directors of Georgia. His wife Karen is an Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College graduate, a licensed Georgia insurance agent, and a licensed Georgia funeral service apprentice.

James (Jim) R. Albritton, LFD
Jim Albritton has been a licensed embalmer and funeral director in Tifton for many years. Coming to Tifton in 1981, he is a graduate of Mercer University’s College of Liberal Arts in Macon, Georgia, and a cum laude graduate of The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jim is certified by the National Board of Funeral Service. He is married to the former Karen Bryan and they have two daughters, Madeline born in 1997 and Millicent born in 1999.
Jim and his family are members of Northside Baptist Church, where he has served several terms as a Deacon. Currently, he is serving on the board of directors for Hospice of Tift Area.
