James (Jim) R. Albritton, LFD
Jim Albritton has been a licensed embalmer and funeral director in Tifton for many years. Coming to Tifton in 1981, he is a graduate of Mercer University’s College of Liberal Arts in Macon, Georgia, and a cum laude graduate of The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jim is certified by the National Board of Funeral Service. He is married to the former Karen Bryan and they have two daughters, Madeline born in 1997 and Millicent born in 1999.
Jim and his family are members of Northside Baptist Church, where he has served several terms as a Deacon. Currently, he is serving on the board of directors for Hospice of Tift Area.
J. Michael Beaumont, LFD
Mike has over thirty years of experience in the funeral service and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1989. He began working with his parents, Joe and Sally Beaumont, here at the funeral home at a young age and has experience in all aspects of the funeral service industry.
Mike is a graduate of the Tift County High Class of 1986 and of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta. He is also certified by the National Board of Funeral Service. He is a past president of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia and is a member of the Georgia Funeral Directors Association and Independent Funeral Directors of Georgia. Mike has been the Tift County Coroner since 2005 and was previously the Deputy Coroner for 17 years. He is a member of the Georgia Coroner’s Association and received the Deputy Coroner of the Year award for the state of Georgia in 1996. He is a member of the Tifton Kiwanis Club, Masonic Lodge #47, and is a Past Exalted Ruler of the Tifton Elks Lodge #114. Mike is a lifetime resident of Tifton and is married to the former Lori Moore. They have one son, John Michael.
